Independent Examiners Ltd specialises in independent examination and accounts preparation for charities across the UK. We are growing our team and looking for motivated, detail-oriented professionals to join us as Independent Examiners on a flexible hybrid basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an accounting background who wants to build or develop expertise in the charity sector.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out independent examinations for charity clients in accordance with Charity Commission guidance
- Reviewing charity accounts and financial records
- Communicating findings clearly to trustees and finance teams
Experience
- Level 4 AAT (Diploma in Professional Accounting) or above, or equivalent qualification
- Experience in independent examinations, or a demonstrable interest in the charity sector
- Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
