Weighbridge Operative
We are looking for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, has good attention to detail, and is confident in communicating with drivers and site personnel.
No previous weighbridge experience is required as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle weights.
- Welcoming and assisting drivers arriving on site.
- Processing incoming and outgoing paperwork associated with vehicle movements.
- Conducting ADR licence checks and ensuring records are maintained correctly.
- Managing the filing and organisation of production paperwork and site documentation.
- Maintaining accurate records and data entry systems.
- Liaising with site operations to ensure smooth day-to-day activities.

About You
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident in communicating with drivers, colleagues, and visitors.
- Comfortable working with paperwork and computer-based systems.
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain accurate records.
- Previous administrative, logistics, transport, or weighbridge experience is advantageous but not essential.
Hours & Location
Location: Glossop Hours: 8am-4pm Salary: £23,500
