Full job description

Sharples Dental is a modern, fast-growing mixed NHS/private practice looking for a motivated and organised team member to join our reception and back-office team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys patient contact, digital systems, and supporting a high-quality patient journey.

About the Role

You will provide frontline reception support while also helping manage back-office tasks that keep the practice running smoothly. The role includes:

Welcoming patients and managing calls/emails (including AI phone system)
Booking and amending appointments
Improving diary efficiency and following up unbooked treatment
Supporting patient follow-ups and treatment journeys (e.g., Invisalign, implants)
Helping attract new patients and tracking how they hear about us
Leading on social media posting and engagement
Assisting with email marketing and patient communications
Managing CRM systems and enquiry pipelines
Supporting patient experience (e.g., reviews, cards, follow-up messages)

About You

Essential:

Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Confident with digital tools, CRM systems, and social media
Highly organised, proactive, and great attention to detail
Comfortable following up with patients and working in a busy environment

Desirable:

Dental reception experience
Experience with marketing, email platforms, or patient communication tools
Understanding of specialist dental treatments (training provided)
