Full job description

Summary

We are on the look-out for a Transport Administrator to join our fast-paced transport office, based in Horwich.

Do you pride yourself on your attention to detail?
If yes to the above; We have just the job for you!

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered
Upholding and being responsible for the daily systems in place within the transport division e.g. Vehicle defect checks
Respond to customer queries in timely and professional manner
To work with and alongside transport planners to learn and improve knowledge on route planning and transport regulations
Input orders into the software system
Uphold company values for customer relationship management and service excellence in all client interactions
Any other ad hoc duties as required

What you need to succeed

Experience working within a transport office, with an ability to work on own initiative
IT Literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
Confident and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing
Success driven with an attention to detail are essential for this position
Working on a full-time, permanent basis, covering the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday for a well established family run business
