Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and motivated SEO Content Executive to join our growing digital marketing team.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident writing high quality content across a wide range of industries, while also understanding how content contributes to SEO performance. From private healthcare and professional services to local trades and eCommerce businesses, you’ll be responsible for producing engaging, well-researched content that helps our clients rank and grow online.
Working closely with our SEO and Content Manager and Head of SEO, you will create, optimise, and review content that supports our clients’ organic growth strategies. As a fast paced agency, you’ll need to be organised, proactive, and confident managing your own priorities while working across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Write high quality SEO focused content, including service pages, landing pages, blog articles, and website copy
- Carry out keyword research and content planning to support SEO campaigns
- Optimise on-page content including headings, internal links, and metadata
- Track the performance of new content and onsite changes using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs
- Identify content gaps and opportunities through competitor and keyword research
- Review outsourced content to ensure it meets quality standards and aligns with our SEO strategy
- Identify and flag AI generated content where necessary, and ensure all final content meets our quality guidelines
- Collaborate with SEO specialists, designers, and developers to ensure content aligns with wider campaign strategies
- Maintain high writing standards while managing multiple deadlines
About You
You should be comfortable writing about a wide variety of topics and adapting your tone to suit different industries and audiences.
You’ll also have a solid understanding of how SEO works and how content supports rankings, user engagement, and conversions.
Essential:
- Excellent written communication and research skills
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals
- Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Search Console
- Ability to analyse content performance and improve existing pages
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Confident writing original content without the use of AI tools
- Experience working within an agency or marketing team environment
Preferred:
- Experience publishing content in WordPress or a similar CMS
- Familiarity with on page SEO optimisation techniques
- Experience reviewing or editing third party content

Important Information
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and live within commuting distance of our Wallasey-based office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
