Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Greggs Team Members specialising in sandwich preparation and customer service. As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, and providing outstanding service to our customers. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, snacks, and hot food items in accordance with company standards.
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or drive-thru.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food preparation and serving areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management to ensure product availability.
- Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service.
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food preparation or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and stock management.
- Experience in kitchen operations or culinary roles can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to customer service.
