Currently we are seeking an Experienced Arborist to work out of the Basingstoke area.
PTS works for commercial and domestic clients, the arboricultural work includes felling, working from a MEWP, climbing, emergency tree works, hedge cutting and stump grinding. Other activities include grass cutting, herbicide treatment, vegetation clearance and planting.
Occasional overnight stays away must be acceptable to any candidate.
Candidates must be able to pass a drugs and alcohol test pre-start, and be aware that random drug and alcohol testing will be conducted throughout employment.
The candidate should:
· Be experienced with Arb works, including pruning, reductions to BS3998 standard
· Have a good understanding of Health & Safety
· Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, good timekeeping; be reliable and work well in a team.
· Be physically able to do the work required
· Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points
Desirable qualifications / certificates, any of the below or their equivalent (training will be provided for the right candidates):
· CSCS – LISS/BALI Card
· Lantra Brush Cutter / Strimmer
· NPTC Chainsaw CS30, CS31a, CS31b, CS38 & CS39
· NPTC Chainsaw from a MEWP CS47
· NPTC Brushwood Chippers
· IPAF – MEWPS
Additional beneficial qualifications / certificates (training will be provided for the right candidates).
· NPTC Pesticides PA1 & PA6A
· NPTC Pesticides PA2
· Towing experience

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
