Overview
We are seeking a professional PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating passenger vehicles, ensuring timely and courteous transportation services. This role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and strong communication abilities to deliver a high standard of service to our clients. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our transport services.

Responsibilities

Safely operate PCV vehicles, including buses and coaches, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance
Plan routes effectively to meet schedules and optimise efficiency
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service throughout the journey
Communicate clearly with dispatchers and passengers using professional language
Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle condition
Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly to the appropriate personnel
Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and presentable at all times

Requirements

Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) licence with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver, preferably with passenger transport experience
Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with road regulations
Fluency in English, with good communication skills for interacting with passengers and team members
Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles confidently
Good organisational skills for route planning and time management
Previous experience in customer service or delivery roles is advantageous

Professional PSV Driver (Part-Time to Full-Time)

DW Travel Ltd is seeking a professional PSV Driver to join our growing team on a part-time to full-time basis.

Requirements

Full PSV Category D licence
Valid Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Excellent work ethic and a positive, professional attitude
Strong customer service skills and reliability

Liverpool City Council Taxi Badge or willing to obtain.

The Role

You will be involved in a variety of driving assignments, including:

Private hire work
Corporate transport
City tours
Golf transport services

The role primarily involves driving our fleet of luxury Mercedes Sprinter mini-coaches.
