Job Overview
Full-time (30-35 hours per week), although part time hours may be considered for the right candidate
We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant with Sage 50 experience to join our friendly accountancy practice.
Duties will include:
- Bookkeeping for a variety of clients
- VAT returns and general accounts support
- Processing invoices, receipts and bank transactions using Sage 50
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll assistance
- Dealing with client queries
- General office and administrative duties
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous bookkeeping experience
- Be familiar with Sage (or similar accounting software) and Excel
- Have good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enjoys working with people and providing good customer service
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a small team
