Salary – Up to £35,500 depending on experience

Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Holiday – 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)

About the Bookkeeper role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team at our Boston Office.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will be attending client visits to carry out bookkeeping services.

Key responsibilities of a Bookkeeper will include:

Attending client premises to undertake bookkeeping on-site
Bank reconciliations
Posting transactions
Reconciling sales and purchase ledgers
Keeping Sage and Xero up to date
Dealing with client queries as and when they arise

About you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Minimum of 3 years previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice
AAT qualified
Understanding of agriculture accounts is advantageous
Experience in using Sage and Xero is preferred
Ability to manage own tasks, good time management and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Enthusiastic and motivated team player with a “can do” attitude
Passionate about great service in order to provide a high level of client care
Presents themselves in a professional manner during client interactions
