We are currently recruiting for a Grading Shed Supervisor at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern, working 6am to 6pm

Salary: £13.96 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a small grading team to ensure accurate and efficient grading of potatoes according to quality standards.
Monitor output and quality, reporting any issues promptly to management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the grading shed.
Provide training, support, and guidance to team members.
Ensure paperwork is completed on time and accurately (temperature checks, grading sheet etc.)
Ensure accurate labelling of all boxes coming off the grader

Requirements

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a production or grading environment, preferably in the food industry.
Good understanding of quality control and health and safety standards.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production targets.
