Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and organised Bookkeeper/Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth financial and administrative operations of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and providing essential administrative support. Duties
- Manage and maintain financial records using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports as required
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims
- Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence management
- Liaise with external accountant insuring they have all information required for annual accounts.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations
- Maintain organised documentation of all financial transactions for audit purposes
Skills
- Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
