Overview:
We are seeking a Workshop Welding Inspector to join our company in Cleghorn, Lanark. The position is full time, 39 hours per week, on a permanent basis. Your duties will include:
- Adhering to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System and health and Safety Procedures
- Producing and maintaining job specific inspection, material and NDT records
- Able to Read & Interpret technical drawings.
- Goods inwards & Outwards inspection
- Material test certificate review
- Preparation of ITP & Quality Packs
- Shopfloor inspections in accordance with the inspection and test plan
- Arrange sub-contractor NDT requirements
- Liasing with third party inspectors
- Maintaining calibration of inspection and test equipment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role is essential
- Experience in an Inspector role Preferable.
