Based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join the Company’s Production Team.
Supporting the Electrical Manager, you will be required to lead a team of electricians working on various construction sites across the business, and oversee all electrical installations, ensuring compliance with NICEIC requirements and William Davis Ltd.’s own exceptional standards.
Core accountabilities of the role include:
- Attending the NICEIC annual assessment and ensuring technical compliance.
- Providing training and toolbox talks to all electricians.
- Supervising electricians across all domestic housing projects.
- Calling off all materials and arranging prompt delivery.
- Ensuring all works meet current electrical and building regulations.
- Conducting site audits and compliance checks.
- Verifying test results, sample testing/checking works, and ensuring certification accuracy.
- Checking/recording calibration and accuracy of all testing equipment.
- Supporting engineers with technical guidance and problem solving.
- Ensuring all works meet health & safety and compliance standards.
- Liaising with site managers and site contract managers where needed and keeping projects running smoothly.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Level 3 Electrical qualification.
- C&G 2391 (or equivalent testing & inspection)
- Strong knowledge of compliance with BS7671, certification & testing.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence
Preferable:
- Level 3 Award in the Installation and Commissioning of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment. (training may be provided)
- Competent with Compliance of part F of the building regulations. (training may be provided)
- Previous QS/ Electrical Qualifying Supervisor or supervisory experience.
