Experienced Garment Screen Printer
We are looking for an experienced Garment Screen Printer to join our busy production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating both manual and automatic screen-printing presses, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to maintain high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automatic screen-printing machines
- Prepare screens, inks, and garments for production runs
- Register artwork accurately and ensure colour consistency
- Print high-quality garments to production standards
- Mix inks and match colours where required
- Carry out quality control checks throughout production
- Clean and maintain screens, presses, and work areas
- Work closely with production staff to meet deadlines and daily targets
Requirements
- Experience with automatic presses preferred
- Knowledge of plastisol and water-based inks
- Ability to set up multi-colour jobs accurately
- Good understanding of screen preparation and reclaiming
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure
- Positive attitude and good teamwork skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience with MHM, or similar automatic presses
- Exposure to DTG, embroidery, or heat press production
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge
