Full job description

Duties

Teach beginner swim lessons for individual or small group lessons
Teach swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and water safety
Adapt lessons and teaching methods to suit the swimmers in each lesson
Provide feedback and encouragement to help children improve their swimming skills
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants

Qualifications

STA Level 2 Award or SEQ Level 2

Skills

Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels
Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching swimming
Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is preferred

Hours

Either Tuesday or Wednesday evening between 4pm and 7pm
Starting in September
Opportunity to pick up cover work
