Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, analyze processes, gather requirements, and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business growth. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience translating business requirements into actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Conduct data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Create detailed functional and technical specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business teams to deliver solutions.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews.
Develop process maps, business cases, and project documentation.
Monitor project progress and ensure requirements are met.
Perform gap analysis and recommend process enhancements.
Support testing activities and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with requirements gathering and business process modeling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications such as BCS Business Analysis, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
Knowledge of project management principles.
Experience working in technology, finance, healthcare, or consulting sectors.
