Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing exceptional patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare and medication management to contribute to patient well-being in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist
Assist with medication administration and provide guidance to patients on proper usage
Maintain precise records of medication inventory and ensure stock levels are adequate
Support patient care activities by answering queries and providing information about medications
Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and health regulations within the pharmacy setting
Organise and manage prescription orders efficiently to facilitate timely patient service
Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe pharmacy environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or similar role within a healthcare setting
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care protocols
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a busy environment
Registration or certification as a Pharmacy Technician (where applicable) is preferred but not mandatory
A compassionate attitude towards patients and a commitment to delivering quality care

Pay: £24,420.00-£42,766.21 per year
