The Role:
To support the Technical Managers by providing administrativesupport with technical systems, grower / supplier approvals, technical duediligence requirements, complete internal audits as required and support withsite technical training requirements.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to maintain documents and data pertaining to the technical function - e.g. customer rejections, customer complaints, internal KPI report, compile customer reports, audit reports, calibration schedules, updating technical trackers, site contact lists (list not exhaustive).

Alert the Technical Manager(s) if any significant trends, non-conformances or out-of-specification events are detected.

Generation and maintain trending for internal noticeboards for various technical data.

Support with site training.

Complete site QMS, GMP, CCP hygiene, paperwork compliance and pest control audits.
- Support with supplier and grower approval due diligence documentation.

Support as required with customer online technical portals.

Create, manage and keep up-to-date the internal technical specifications.

Assist the NPD process (as required) e.g. artwork / label approval, QASs, arranging sample testing, sending samples to customers/Neilson Brandbank at launch.

Capture all customer alerts on the site GAP analysis register, assist with conducting gap analysis on new standards and generating implementation plans.

Take part in BRCGS (Food), Customer and Third-Party audits and present relevant information within the scope of the role.

Collecting samples, co-ordinating the benchmarking assessment and generating full benchmarking reports.

In addition to the above this role will have a continuous improvement focus, playing an integral part in carrying out investigation and establishing root cause analysis and informing future improvements
We are looking for:-
Experience within the food industry especially in technical roles

HACCP Level 2 or above

Food Safety Level 2 or above

Internal Auditing training

Conducting internal audits

Delivering technical training

Highly computer literate - Microsoft office suite (excel in particular), web-based portals and specifications

A keen eye for detail

Structured practical thinker with excellent problem solving skills
