We have a vacancy for someone to assist the General Manager in the day to day running of a busy nightclub and pub.
The candidate must have at least 2 years of nightclub management experience ideally with a BIIAB Personal Alcohol License Level 2, and possess the following attributes:
- Strong Leadership & Communication Skills
- Knowledge of the Licensing Regulations and how to apply them in the workplace
- Staff Training and Monitoring of staff performance
- Work well under pressure with the ability to lead a team in a calm and professional manner.
- Flexibility to offer staff cover when no other staff available to cover.
- Liasing with the General Manager with a proactive, company focus approach.
- Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
- Confident, honest and reliable. Trustworthy as a keyholder.
- Customer Service skills, ability to be friendly but professional.
- An understanding and willingness to adapt to how an Independent business runs apposed to a corporate chain.
The job role includes but is not restricted to:
- Cellar Management
- Cashing up tills
- Ordering from local suppliers
- Supervising bar staff on shift
- Managing sickness and arranging cover
- Ad-hoc maintenance when situations arise
- Floorwalking during club open hours
- Managing Door Staff on shift
- Ensuring Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Assisting intoxicated customers in a professional & sympathetic manner
- Dealing with customer complaints
- Performing apprasals & disiplinaries
