Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to bring vibrant, high-quality finishes to a variety of interior and exterior spaces. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
- Use brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other tools effectively to achieve smooth, even coatings.
- Collaborate with clients or project managers to select appropriate colors, textures, and finishes based on project specifications.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Conduct routine inspections during projects to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues promptly.
- Communicate clearly with team members and clients regarding project progress, timelines, and any adjustments needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to operate various painting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Valid driving license with reliable transportation is preferred for job site access.
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand project requirements and collaborate effectively.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to working at heights, handling chemicals, and operating machinery.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
