Liberty Private Care are looking for a LIVE IN CARER for a client in the Christchurch area. The pay rate is £978.67/week.. You will work two weeks on, two weeks off
We are NOT an introduction agency, we are a domiciliary care company, regulated by CQC and we employ our staff, taking care of paying your tax and national insurance, we contribute to your pension scheme and we pay holiday pay, which is accrued from day 1.
About The Role
You will be fully supported by our management team and an on call service, so that someone will always be available to give you advice if something happens that you’re not sure how to deal with. A supervisor will visit regularly to support you. Training is given prior to starting the Live In which you would be paid for.
The hours worked are usually 8am - 8pm plus you will get a 2 hour break during the day. Meals are either taken with the client or an additional allowance given to buy your own food.
During your time living with our client, you will help them with personal care, administer medication, accompany them to the shops or events in the community, make them meal & drinks, do household chores and, most importantly, keep them company, including engaging with them in activities that they are interested in to enrich their life.
Our client likes cars particularly vintage and watching old westerns, people watching at the park and having a coffee out.
To provide the calibre of staff that we want to for our private client, we are looking for experienced carers with a minimum of 2 years experience in a CQC regulated service (hospital, nursing home, domiciliary care company). You need to be an affable, flexible person, with a ‘can do’ attitude and a caring nature. You also need to be a car driver with your own car so that you can take our client on trips out. A knowledge of strokes and how this can affect a persons speech and cognition are essential.

About The Company
Liberty Private Care was founded by husband and wife team, Andrew and Fiona Key in 2019 when Fiona was unable to find the standard of care that she wanted for her own mother. Together, Fiona and Andrew have more than 75 years nursing and care experience and have worked in the NHS, for care agencies, residential care and nursing homes, and also run a successful homecare company in north-west England.
