About us

Syd's House is a vintage surf / skate / snow clothing store based in Southbourne, Bournemouth. We sell 90s and y2k surfwear (Quiksilver, Billabong, Oakley, Rip Curl etc) to customers all over the world, with 47,000 followers on Instagram. We're a small team that's growing quickly.

The job

The job involves a bit of everything. Day to day that means photographing and measuring stock, steaming and prepping, listing products, helping with our social media content, and occasionally modelling women's pieces for the site and Instagram.

Who we're looking for

Someone reliable and precise. You'll fit in well if you like working in a small and fast moving team. An interest or involvement in board sport culture is preferred, and it's a big bonus if you're comfortable in front of the camera, have made content before, or know your way around vintage clothing.

Important bits

Around 20 hours per week to start, with more available as you settle in and as we head into our busiest season. £12.71 per hour to start, reviewed to £13.50 when you go permanent after the 3 month trial period. Staff discounts on everything & casual dress of course.
