The Basket Company is a small well established ecommerce retailer specialising in beautifully designed wicker baskets and home storage products. We’re passionate about creating a calm, organised home through thoughtfully curated products and exceptional customer experience.
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Ecommerce Merchandising Executive to join our friendly team at our office in Ringwood, Hampshire.
This is a varied and hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys both creative and administrative work, has a flair for product photography and styling, has a strong grasp of using computers and online systems, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating beautiful photography and maintaining product listings across our website and eBay
- Editing and organising product imagery for the website, newsletters and social media
- Writing engaging, SEO-friendly product descriptions
- Uploading and maintaining product images and website content
- Supporting seasonal campaigns and website merchandising
- Creating homepage banners, graphics and promotional imagery
- Managing product information using Sage and Excel
- Ensuring product listings are accurate, organised and customer-friendly
- Liaising with marketing, warehouse and operations teams
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is creative and has a flair for home interior decor styling
- Is confident using computers and online systems
- Has strong organisational skills
- Can manage multiple tasks effectively
- Has good written, numerical and communication skills
- Experience using the Shopify platform is advantageous but not essential
· Works well both independently and as part of a team
Experience in ecommerce, merchandising, product listings, content creation or digital retail would be advantageous, but attitude and aptitude are equally important. Full training and support will be given
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
