Summary

We are seeking a Hydraulic Technician to join our team in Poole. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing top-notch hydraulic solutions.

Role: Mobile Service Technician / Mechanical hydraulic hose Fitter - Experience preferred yet not essential as full training will be provided.

A position now exists at Pirtek Poole Ltd for a hands on Mobile Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter to join our experienced and busy team servicing customers within Bournemouth and surrounding areas and the surrounding areas as a mobile/On Site Hydraulic Hose Replacement engineer.

Salary and Benefits: Good basic salary (experience dependent) plus overtime and bonuses, giving realistic target earnings of up to & over £39,000 per annum. Company van, mobile phone/device and full training will be provided.

As a Mobile Service Technician/Mechanical Fitter you will be expected to;

- Identify faults, service and repair a wide variety of plant and machinery, predominantly focusing on hydraulic hose equipment, across a wide variety of industries.

- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements ensuring all machinery is safe and fit for purpose.

- Work independently and communicate at all levels, in a professional manner, whilst offering technical support and performing breakdown assistance.
- Proactively approach and introduce our full product range to new customers and develop our existing accounts to increase revenue and market share.

The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical /fitting or be a time served apprentice, but is not essential as full training will be provided for on site training. You will be self-motivated with strong communication skills, will have the desire to deliver excellent customer service and will be capable of building strong relationships to increase sales.

A 'can do' attitude will be essential to maintain the level of service that our customers expect.

Experience in fitting or maintaining hydraulic equipment and plant machinery is desirable but is not essential as full training will be provided.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
