Do you want to make a difference in our recycling and waste service?
Help the New Forest keep clean and tidy by helping to organise staffing and collection rounds to ensure a professional and reliable system is put in place daily.
Like doing a physical demanding job?
This role is right up your street as it requires you to work on the collection rounds loading and driving supporting the depot supervisor and deputising in his absence, each day could be different as the role requires you to adapt to the daily changes within the service at your depot, on rare occasions you may be asked to support other depots to ensure the service is completed across the district on a daily basis.
Looking for a challenge and rewarding job?
Then join the waste operations team who are currently embarking on a journey of change across its services, Due to the approval of the new waste strategy in 2022 this now requires the service transformation from a bag service to a wheeled bin service which will incorporate not only a move to wheeled bin but the introduction of food waste and a separate collection of card and paper, with the introduction of a brand new fleet this will be a great time to join the team as from your experience you will have input into the specification and how we deliver the new services.
