PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The role is required to work alongside the production team to ensure all quality aspects are carried out in accordance with our processes and that they meet our customer specifications. This role will ensure production samples are tested and non-conformances are recorded and communicated to key stakeholders in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect components to a high level of quality in line with our procedures.
- Ensure all production documentation is fully populated and accurate.
- Sample checks are conducted and recorded.
- DSC testing of resin systems.
- Own the retain samples & storage within the freezer.
- Visual inspection of product is conducted.
- Ensure labels are correct and accurately applied to product.
- Enforce traceability and FIFO/FEFO.
- Report broken/damaged/missing equipment, tools & devices.
- Audit cleanliness of production area.
- Assist with R&D activities when required.
- Able to meet schedule/timelines in conjunction with the rest of the team.
- Fixability across this section to aid production.
