Job Summary

Dorset Airport Cabs Ltd is looking for a reliable, professional and friendly School Transport Driver to join our growing team.

This is a rewarding role transporting children safely to and from school on contracted routes across Dorset. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing a safe, dependable service and enjoys working within the local community.

This position is ideal for someone seeking part-time work, semi-retired individuals, or existing licensed drivers looking to supplement their income with regular contracted hours.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Safely transporting children to and from school
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Maintaining a professional and courteous manner at all times
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of passengers
Following safeguarding procedures and company policies
Providing a reliable service for schools, parents and Dorset Council contracts

Requirements

Essential

Valid Dorset Council Taxi Driver Licence
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Excellent timekeeping and reliability
Friendly and professional attitude
Good knowledge of Dorset roads
Right to work in the UK

Desirable

Dorset Council School Transport Badge

Please note: A Dorset Council School Transport Badge is preferred but not essential, as we can assist suitable applicants with obtaining this.
