About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and highly organised Paralegal / Legal Assistant to provide direct support to the Head of Commercial Litigation within our specialist city centre practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on high-value commercial, insolvency and property litigation matters. You will be trusted with real responsibility from day one, working closely with senior lawyers on complex disputes and attending courts in both Manchester and London when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-level administrative and organisational support to the Head of Commercial Litigation.
- Assisting with high-value commercial, insolvency and property litigation matters.
- Drafting, formatting and preparing legal documents, correspondence and court bundles.
- Managing diaries, meetings, court attendances and travel arrangements.
- Opening new files, ensuring compliance requirements are met and maintaining accurate case records.
- Taking and making client calls, handling new enquiries and liaising with clients, counsel, courts and external solicitors.
- Managing legal files, document organisation and case progression to ensure deadlines are met.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy litigation department.
About You
- Previous experience as a Legal PA, Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant within a legal practice.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, professional and discreet approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
- A genuine interest in commercial litigation, insolvency or property litigation.
- Must be based locally and able to work full-time from our city centre office.

Pay: £12.50-£18.50 per hour
