We are looking for someone friendly and pro-active to join our Toyota Norwich Service team.
About the Role:
SLM Toyota Norwich has adopted a collaborative Customer Consultant approach to provide a continuous customer journey through the vehicle sales and aftersales processes. We are looking for someone to join as a Service-focused Customer Consultant.
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused with a calm attitude to guide the customer throughout their aftersales journey, from booking in their vehicle to liaising with them until their vehicle is ready to collect. Our Service team work alongside our busy Toyota workshop team who carry out vehicle services, MOTs, and repairs, to ensure our customers receive excellent customer service. We all know there can be a few surprises with cars, so showing initiative and understanding is key to ensure customer satisfaction.
This is a fast-paced customer-facing environment, so a friendly, outgoing personality is needed to welcome our customers and provide support to our Sales team.
Our Service team works Monday to Saturday 7:30am to 6:30pm on a 4-day rota, with Sundays off and a 5-day break every 3 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome SLM Toyota Norwich customers and build a rapport to qualify customer needs
- Agree the details of the work to be carried out with the customer
- Liaise with the workshop team to deliver agreed jobs set
- Update the customer throughout their aftersales journey, and ensure customer satisfaction on completion
- Work as a full member of the dealership team
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous service experience is preferrable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Adaptable and pro-active attitude
- Ability to use own initiative and problem solve to create customer satisfaction
- Comfortable using digital tools and systems
- Full UK driving licence
