Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Education IQA and EQA Co-ordinator to oversee quality assurance processes within our educational programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining high-quality teaching and learning environments.
We are a well established alternative learning provision based mainly in Bristol and South Gloucestershire however we also have bases in Gloucester and Swindon and offer a range of learning and mentoring experiences for young people from Primary ages through to Post 16.
This role will be based out of our headquarters in South Gloucestershire however will involve travel to other sites.
The role is 9-3, 5 days per week, and we pride ourselves as an organisation in providing a work-life balance that means there is little or no expectation on you to work outside of these hours or complete duties at home. We are alternative learning and therefore you can expect an alternative from the pressures of mainstream school education!

Our ideal candidate will have strong organisation skill, good attention to detail and experience of assessing and quality assuring learning outcomes. We work mainly with NOCN as an awarding body so experience of their working methods would be beneficial.
The candidate needs to have teaching experience and the ability to continue to develop our Learning Pathways for students through the creation of appropriate learning resources for NOCN short courses. They also need to be confident liaising with schools and commissioners as well as exam boards and awarding bodies.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal quality assurance (IQA) procedures to ensure adherence to national standards and organisational policies.
- Coordinate external quality assurance (EQA) activities, liaising with accreditation bodies and external auditors.
- Conduct regular audits of teaching practices, assessment methods, and learner feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Support teaching staff through training sessions, workshops, and mentoring programmes aimed at maintaining high standards of delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to quality assurance processes, including reports, action plans, and compliance records.
- Analyse data on learner performance and feedback to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers and management teams to ensure curriculum content aligns with quality standards.
- Promote a culture of excellence in teaching and learning across all programmes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an educational setting, preferably with a focus on quality assurance or programme management.
- Strong understanding of national accreditation standards and quality assurance frameworks within education.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders including teaching staff, learners, and external agencies.
- Teaching experience is highly desirable, with a clear understanding of pedagogical principles and assessment practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance and quality. This role is integral to ensuring our educational programmes meet the highest standards of excellence while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
Pay: £25,800.00 per year
