Fire & Security Engineer – Job Advert

Position: Fire & Security Engineer
Location: London / South East and Home Counties
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive salary + overtime + company vehicle + benefits

22 days holiday + Public holidays

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding of a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and maintenance of:
Fire alarms
Aov systems
Refuge alarms
Emergency Lighting systems
CCTV systems
Intruder alarms
Access control systems
Door entry
Fault diagnosis and repair
Carrying out routine servicing and inspections
Completing job reports and compliance paperwork
Providing excellent customer service on-site
Working independently and as part of a team
Participate in an on call rota

Requirements

Previous experience in the fire and security industry
Knowledge of major manufacturers and systems
Full UK driving licence
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Relevant industry qualifications preferred
