Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing air conditioning systems across various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background in mechanical systems and a passion for ensuring optimal climate control solutions. The position requires leadership qualities, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units and associated equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, then perform repairs or replacements as necessary.
Lead installation projects, including planning, system setup, and commissioning of new air conditioning systems.
Repair and service HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to facilitate accurate installation and repair work.
Supervise junior team members during maintenance or installation tasks, providing guidance and leadership.
Collaborate with construction teams during building projects to integrate air conditioning systems seamlessly into the infrastructure.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and system conditions for future reference.

Experience

Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and system blueprints is essential.
Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or team-leading roles preferred.
Practical experience in equipment repair within HVAC or related mechanical fields is highly desirable.
Construction experience involving HVAC systems or building services will be considered an advantage.
Strong understanding of maintenance protocols for climate control systems in commercial or industrial environments.

Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
