Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipework and plumbing systems on construction and maintenance projects. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills, a good understanding of site safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain piping and plumbing systems.
Read and work from drawings, schematics, and technical plans.
Carry out MIG, TIG, and other welding tasks as required.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment safely and effectively.
Install plumbing fixtures, fittings, and mechanical components.
Diagnose and resolve faults in pipework and plumbing systems.
Complete maintenance work to ensure systems operate efficiently.
Follow all site health and safety procedures and industry standards.
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plumber or Pipefitter.
Previous construction site experience is essential.
Valid CSCS Card required.
Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, soldering, and pipe installation.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Good understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment.
Good problem-solving skills and basic maths skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to high-quality workmanship and safe working practices.
