Portuguese Teacher (Brazilian Portuguese) Language Teacher Wanted – Home-Based Instruction

Talk and Chalk Idiomas is a thriving language school offering personalized language instruction to individuals and groups worldwide. We specialize in delivering high-quality, tailor-made courses designed to meet our students' specific goals, whether for work, travel, or personal growth.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Brazilian Portuguese language teacher who can provide in-person lessons at their home premises.

About the Course

Type of Class: One-on-one.
Location: At the student's home or in the Gillingham area.
Duration: The initial contract is for 10 hours, with the potential to extend up to 30 hours based on student progress and interest.
Class Length: 1.5 hours per session.
Student's Level: Beginner to elementary (to be assessed during the first session).
Purpose: The student seeks to improve their Portuguese skills for personal development.

Ideal Teacher ProfileQualifications:

Native or near-native proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese.
Holds a degree in Portuguese language teaching, linguistics, or a related field.
Experience as a Brazilian Portuguese teacher, translator, or interpreter.
Has experience teaching adult learners at beginner levels.

Requirements:

Must have the legal right to work in the country.
Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic about teaching.

Additional Information

Flexible scheduling arranged between the teacher and student.
Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
This is a freelance position, and we are unable to sponsor visas.
