Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC routers to produce high-quality products, primarily working with foam and other materials. Hours of work
13:30 – 22:00 Monday – Thursday, 13:30 – 19:30 Friday (Afternoon)
Duties
- Set up, programme, and operate CNC routers to produce precise parts according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate production.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspection of CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards
- Maintain organised work areas and document production activities accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC routers or similar machining equipment.
- Knowledge of CAD software is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for quality control.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
