Location: Lily Pad Day Nursery
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Are you passionate about early childhood education and committed to giving every child the best start in life? At Lily Pad Day Nursery, we’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our nurturing and inspiring environment.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering high-quality care, fostering curiosity, and helping children grow into confident, happy, and independent learners.

What You’ll Do

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

Provide exceptional physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for all children
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development
Observe, assess, and record each child’s progress, sharing meaningful updates with families
Support daily routines, including mealtimes, rest, and personal care
Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
Work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a warm and supportive culture
Maintain high standards of professionalism, safeguarding, and health & safety

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced, with at least 2 years in a childcare setting (preferred)
Passionate about early years education and child development
Knowledgeable of the EYFS framework and safeguarding best practices
Organised, proactive, and a strong team player
Confident in building relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Committed to continuous professional development
