Job Overview
We are currently seeking a vigilant and well-organised Control Room Operator to support our security operations. Based in our control room, you will play a key role in monitoring security systems, coordinating incident responses, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations across various client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring email and responding to it.
- Coordinating with security officers, emergency services, and management during incidents.
- Maintaining accurate records, incident reports, and daily logs.
- Operating and troubleshooting security systems, ensuring all equipment functions properly.
- Responding to calls and enquiries professionally, directing security teams as needed.
- Following company procedures and emergency protocols in case of security breaches, theft, or emergencies.
- Conducting routine system checks and reporting any malfunctions or suspicious activity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a security control room or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic computer skills for logging reports and monitoring systems.
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Security certification or relevant training is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in law enforcement, military, or corporate security.
- First aid or emergency response training.
- Familiarity with radio communication protocols.
