Responsibilities

Measure, cut, shape, and position stones using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications
Assist in the installation of stone facades, retaining walls, flooring, and decorative features with precision and attention to detail
Prepare surfaces and foundations for stone placement by performing masonry and carpentry tasks as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure safety standards are maintained throughout all phases of work
Use welding techniques when necessary to reinforce stone structures or secure metal fixtures
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris efficiently
Follow project plans and blueprints accurately to achieve desired aesthetic and structural outcomes

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, hammers, trowels, and levels for precise stone work
Experience in bricklaying, masonry, and general carpentry to support diverse construction tasks
Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in various working conditions
Knowledge of roofing techniques that may involve integrating stone elements into roofing structures
