We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has advanced technical expertise, strong diagnostic abilities, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and computerized vehicle systems
- Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Use diagnostic tools, scanners, and technical manuals to identify issues accurately
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance services
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance
- Mentor and support junior technicians and apprentices
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and service records
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers
- Stay current with evolving automotive technologies and manufacturer updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems and diagnostics
- Ability to operate diagnostic software and shop equipment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems
- Leadership or shop foreman experience
- German vehicle experience2
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
Pay: £36,000.00 per year
