Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models for various construction and civil engineering projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a range of CAD software tools, contribute to innovative design solutions, and support project development from concept through to completion. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in civil or construction design, with a keen eye for detail and precision.

Responsibilities

Develop accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.
Create schematics and technical diagrams that meet project specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design requirements and translate them into detailed CAD models.
Ensure all drawings are compliant with relevant regulations, codes, and client standards.
Revise and update designs based on feedback or changes in project scope.
Assist in preparing documentation for construction or manufacturing processes.
Maintain organised digital files of all drawings and models for easy retrieval and version control.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of construction processes and civil engineering principles.
Experience creating schematics and technical diagrams for construction projects.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all drawings and models.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into precise CAD designs. This position offers an engaging environment where creativity meets technical expertise.
