Slitter / Rewind Operator

MP+H Packaging is a leading manufacturer of printed flexible packaging and labels. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Slitter / Rewind Operator to join our production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate slitter and rewind machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure finished reels are produced to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Remove and dispose of production waste in line with company procedures.
- Complete all production paperwork and records accurately.
- Report machinery faults, defects, wear and tear, or maintenance requirements to management.
- Assist with Goods In and Goods Out activities as required.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the production and warehouse areas.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience operating slitter and/or rewind machinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow documented procedures and complete production records accurately.
Desirable Experience
- Forklift Truck Licence (preferred but not essential).
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 4:30pm
