About Us

Caring and Sharing Rochdale (CAS) is a registered charity supporting refugees, asylum seekers, economic migrants, and the wider BAME community. From food parcels to cultural celebration events, we empower marginalised individuals to thrive and feel at home.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Officer to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our growing charity. You will help ensure we meet our reporting requirements, support funding work, and keep our finances in strong shape.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Process invoices, payments, and receipts
Support budgeting and financial forecasting
Prepare monthly management accounts and cashflow summaries.
Provide timely financial data for funder monitoring and grant reports.
Support year-end accounts preparation for the external accountant/auditor.
Use accounting software for bookkeeping

About You

Previous experience in a finance-related role (charity experience desirable)
Proficient with financial software ( preferably QuickBooks)
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
A commitment to our mission and values

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
