Salary: Subject to experience and qualifications

Job reference: Secondary Science Vacancy

As a teacher you will need to be able to perform all the general duties expected of a teacher such as, but not limited to:

Preparing and delivering lessons.
Keep up to date with developments in subject area and national objectives.
Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development.
Taking on pastoral duties and managing pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises.
Communicate with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole-school training events.
Undergo regular observations and participate in regular in-service training (INSET) as part of continuing professional development (CPD).
