GRG Waste UK are active in the transportation, processing, and trading of all forms of waste. Every day we turn processed waste material from across society into reusable resources. Our mission is to provide our customers with the best possible waste management solution that is tailored to your requirements, while remaining cost effective for you and sustainable for the environment. In the UK, we are made up of five waste management organisations with six waste transfer and treatment facilities that work in unison to offer a wide range of services. Each site has its own unique processes and services to offer you a bespoke solution. With our facilities providing national coverage across the UK, we can serve customers from governments to individuals and businesses from all sectors.

Diverse Waste Solutions as the newest acquisition of the GRG group Diverse is recruiting for a Sales Executive. Diverse waste Solutions produce innovative and cost –effective solutions for clients in a difficult and ever changing legislative environment. The prime objective of Diverse Waste Solutions Ltd is to offer a competitive and reliable hazardous waste management brokerage that is simple and professional.

The Role

You will begin by generating new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting, and networking. Once you win an account, it becomes yours to manage, develop, and grow. You will build long-term relationships, maximise retention, and identify upselling opportunities while continuing to bring in new clients.

To start with, the role is office-based while you build your customer base. As your portfolio grows, there will be greater flexibility to manage your accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new leads primarily through cold calling, outbound outreach, and networking
Retain and grow the accounts you win — these become your ongoing portfolio
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
Maintain accurate records in our CRM system

What We’re Looking For

Proven sales experience (ideally B2B, waste management, recycling, facilities, logistics, or similar)
Confidence and resilience in cold calling and outbound prospecting
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of the waste industry is an advantage but not essential
