Are you a passionate dog lover looking for a rewarding career? Join our team as a Doggy Daycare Team Member at Paws Indoors Southend! Our business has been established for over 7 years and has been awarded the highest standard star rating 5.

We aim to reshape the perception of dog daycare as chaotic spaces. Our structured environment benefits dogs by providing routine and stability, with daily schedules that include breed-specific care, structured play, engaging training sessions, and designated rest periods. This comprehensive approach promotes physical health, mental stimulation, and socialization, helping dogs build confidence and friendships.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and interact with dogs in our daycare facility, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Organize and lead engaging activities, such as group play sessions, walks, and mental stimulation exercises.
Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by regularly sanitizing play areas and equipment.
Monitor and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioural concerns to the management team.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or requests.
Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to our policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

You must have a Level 3 Animal Management Qualification or equivalent.
Full Clean Manual Drivers License - and have driven for at least 4 years.
Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and maintaining control in group settings.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Previous experience in a similar role or in animal care is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Hours:

This is an ideal role for someone who is looking for a flexible role.
We can offer a range of hours from 16 hours to 30 hours.
Ideally looking for a staff member willing to cover last min and be flexible in terms of working shifts.
