Lettings Negotiator/Administrator

Are you looking for a rewarding role in the property industry? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working independently? Bychoice Estate Agents is hiring a Lettings Negotiator, and we’d love to hear from you!

About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:

Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
Highly motivated and driven to succeed.
Capable of managing their workload independently.
A car owner with a valid driving license.
Experienced in the workplace (5+ years).
Genuinely interested in property.
Familiar with account/bookkeeping (preferred but not essential).

Your Role:
As a Lettings negotiator, your responsibilities will include:

Processing rental applications.
Managing maintenance orders for residential lettings.
Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
Conducting check-out and inventory reports.
Taking property photos and creating floor plans.
Chasing rent and landlord payments.
Handling bank reconciliation.
Booking annual safety assessments for managed properties.
Discussing and selling additional services to landlords and tenants, such as rent guarantee insurance and rent increase services.

In addition, we sell a large portfolio of Sharedownership properties within the wider radius of 1 hour from Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will include this within their work and this will include viewings and fortnightly inspections.

Working Hours:

5 days a week
Monday to Saturday (with a day off in the week)
Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
