Overview
We are seeking a skilled Motorcycle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorcycles and possess strong mechanical knowledge. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motorcycle models to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of motorcycles to identify mechanical issues
- Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
- Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repair tasks
- Test ride motorcycles post-repair to ensure issues are resolved and performance standards are met
- Maintain detailed records of all work carried out on each motorcycle
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance requirements
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in motorcycle repair or similar fields
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Organised approach to managing multiple repair jobs efficiently
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified MOT tester

Pay: £26,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
