Marketing & Communications Executive

Overview of the role
The Marketing & Comms Executive will be responsible for all marketing activities, internal communications and external communications on behalf of Chemring Countermeasures Ltd (CCM). They will work with the Group marketing department, as well as other Chemring business units, to ensure the Chemring brand is maintained to a high standard across the business. They will support the business development team with marketing campaigns, events and supporting material. They will also work with People team, senior management and senior leadership to manage internal and external communications.
Responsibilities
- Exhibitions and Conferences: Planning and delivery of all exhibitions and conferences required by the business development team. This may involve travel to support events as required.
- Social media: Management and posting of content on the CCM social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
- Internal Communications: Coordination of all internal communications working closely with the People team, senior management and senior leadership. This will include management of the weekly internal communications bulletin.
- Images and Media: Provide imagery and media content to support the business development team promoting our products and key capabilities. This will include info graphics, animated videos and live videos for presentations.
- Website: Responsible for managing all CCM content on the Chemring Group website.
- Branding: Setting out and managing a clear CCM brand image in line with the Chemring Group brand guidelines. This will involve working closely with the business development team, other departments and the Group Marketing team to ensure CCM has a clear and aligned brand image.
- CCM Charity activities: Organise CCM activities with chosen charities, promoting the company and brand. This may involve attending events on behalf of the company.
- Briefing content: Ensure the standard company presentation is maintained and available for all staff who have a need for it. Support with the creation of bespoke presentations for key visits and events.
- Printed promotional materials: Creation and sourcing of all graphics, brochures, and other printed promotional material.
- Other: Support with any other marketing and communications activities required.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and/or Experience
Experience working in marketing and/or communications, or relevant qualification in marketing and/or communications.
5 Years British Residency
Permitted to work in the UK
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and/or Experience
Experience with promotion of technical products to military international customers.
Experience organizing participation at exhibitions and conferences.
Experience producing graphics, brochures, product information sheets and other printed materials.
Experience managing websites and social media platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook.
Experience managing marketing budgets.
This role will be worked over a 4.5 day week; Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:45 and Friday 08:00 – 12:30.
