We're looking for a hardworking, reliable Van Driver & Home Delivery Furniture Installer to join our growing team.
This is a physically active role where no two days are the same. You'll be delivering quality furniture into customers' homes and retail stores, assembling products where required and providing the kind of service that leaves customers genuinely impressed.
What you'll be doing
- Multi-drop furniture deliveries across the UK
- Home deliveries and retail deliveries
- White glove delivery service
- Assembling and installing furniture in customers' homes
- Working as part of a professional two-person delivery team
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensuring furniture is handled carefully and delivered in perfect condition
- Providing outstanding customer service at every delivery
- Following all UK driving regulations and Working Time Directive requirements
Hours
- Permanent, full-time position
- Monday to Friday
- Up to 45 hours per week (excluding breaks)
- Regular overnight stays as required (approx. 1 - 2 per week)
- Early starts are part of the role, sometimes from 4:00am depending on delivery schedules. The upside? You'll often finish much earlier in the day.
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Confident driving experience
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting throughout the day
- A positive, can-do attitude
Desirable (but not essential):
- White glove delivery experience
- Furniture assembly or installation experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience
